About Us
Raising dogs and puppies is a hobby for us, but we also take it very seriously and do our best to make sure our dogs and puppies are healthy, socialized well, and raised right! Our dogs we use to breed have been with us since they were babies, and raised with and around all our children. The parents have all had genetic health testing done through Canine Health Check, Embark or Animal Genetics to ensure that all of our puppies should not have any genetic health problems. They are home raised, socialized puppies, ethically and responsibly bred.
For the Love of Doodles
I, Amy Brewer, grew up with an amazing Golden Retriever named Red. Red was there for our family for many years, through the good times and the bad, including the loss of my baby brother when I was 13. He felt almost human, always knowing when we needed a companion to romp and explore with us, or when we were sad, he would lay his head on our lap and snuggle us and let us hang on him and cry. His eyes were almost human in their expressions, and he was great at making us laugh.
I remember how he never barked, almost as if he didn’t know how, and when, on extremely rare occasions he would get so excited a bark would erupt out of him, he would jerk around and look all over to see where that deep sound had come from! It was Red who gave me my deep respect and love for Golden Retrievers, and there will always be a special place in my heart for him and his memory.
When our family later discovered some of the best breeds of doodles, and the fact you can achieve the low to no shedding while maintaining the great temperament of the the main breeds such as the Bernese Mountain Dog, we knew this was our calling. Our goal here at BrewerDoodles is to provide families and children with what I had the honor and privilege of growing up with.
Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles are all highly intelligent dogs, with many other lovable qualities. We fell in love with the Berners, their loyalty, gentleness with children, yet goofy side and knew we had to share with their great traits with others. However, they are more prone to certain health issues and a shorter lifespan, due to being a pure bred dog. Combining 2 great breeds results in a hybrid dog, and should also give you a dog that will be healthier and live a longer life, while combining all the wonderful personality traits and intelligence of both!

BrewerDoodles are fantastic breeders. They give a lot of time, care and attention to their puppies. They start puppy curriculum early with their puppies which makes such a difference in their development. Our puppy is very well adjusted and intelligent. She had training when we got her at 8 weeks and we simply continued what the Brewers started. They prepare puppy parents as well. Our puppy is a joy and so much fun. Like all puppies, she requires time and attention, but, believe me, it makes a difference when they have a great start in life.

We had a great experience with BrewerDoodles. Amy is very kind and responsive with all communication. She does an excellent job exposing the pups to all kinds of touch, sounds, people, etc. Our Phoebe (formerly Vienna from the Coffee Litter) isn't scared of a thing. We enjoyed the weekly videos and photos that Amy provided throughout the 8 weeks. We were thrilled with the option of picking our puppy in person a week before go home. Puppies are a lot of work, but BrewerDoodles definitely gives you a puppy with a great foundation!
